You can check active jobs in your Printer by opening the Printer's job list, if it isn't already on your dock

To do this, open 'System Preferences'

Select 'Printers'

And double click on the printer which you have just tried to print to

You can find this in your in the Utilities folder in your Applications list or Launchpad

And press Enter on your keyboard

This should list of all of the printers installed on your Mac

This should be after the words 'device for'
-
For example if it said "device for MyPrinter_1200_Series: usb://00000000-0000-0000-AB12- 00000000", the printer's name would be MyPrinter_1200_Series.

Replace [printer-name] with the name of the printer you found in the previous step

And then press Enter on your keyboard

To refresh your job, bring up your Printer window from the dock and then click the circular arrow next to the stalled job

Your Mac should present you with a login window to enter your network credentials for the network printer

After this, the document should print!
